Eggless French Toast (Vegan)
Ingredients
1 ½ cup soy milk or almond milk
3 tbsp. corn starch
6 tbsp. chickpea flour (Besan)
1 tsp. cinnamon
¼ cup maple syrup (optional)
½ cup pecans finely chopped
12 slices of French bread

Method
1.
Wisk together till well blended the milk, corn
starch, chickpea flour, maple syrup, and the cinnamon in a bowl large enough to
hold the bread slices.
2.
Heat a non-stick pan on medium high heat.
3.
Dunk four slices of bread (or how many ever fit
in your bowl) at a time in the bowl.
4.
Grease the pan and then transfer to the bread to
the pan.
5.
Cook on each side for 5 minutes. Taking care not to burn. It should be golden brown in
color.
6.
Once one side is done and you flip the bread
over and sprinkle the pecans.
7.
Serve with maple syrup.
